How to make Spaghetti Hot Dogs

This recipe is a quick and easy option for a weeknight dinner. I cook it once a week because all you need are some spaghetti and hot dogs to have a delicious meal ready in no time. Occasionally, I serve it for breakfast with boiled eggs on the side. I am telling you, this is the real breakfast of a champion!

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces of spaghetti
  • 4 hot dogs
  • 1 Tbps of olive oil
  • 1 chicken cube bouillon – I like Knorr
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 cup of pasta sauce
  • 1/4 cut of grated parmesan cheese (optional)

Directions

  1. while cooking the spaghetti according to package instructions, slice the hot dogs into bite-sized pieces
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat
  3. Add the sliced hot dogs, the cube bouillon, and the pasta sauce and cook for 5-7 minutes, occasionally stirring, until they are browned and slightly crispy
  4. Drain the spaghetti and add it to the skillet with the hot dogs
  5. Toss the spaghetti and hot dogs together until they are well combined
  6. season with salt to taste
  7. Serve with parmesan cheese on top

Enjoy your easy and quick spaghetti for dinner!

Note

If prepared for breakfast, you can serve it with boiled eggs.
